Hail

Hail

A Poem by Su' Nacnetaf

Hazel skies glance down at me
a reverie of the mind takes me away
drowning me in endless glee
morning fashion leads to decay
I waste my time gazing at the skies
oh clouds could you lift me up to your king?
take me please to the one, the wise
what is that I see? Is it hail in spring?

Freezing stones punish my vanity
I surrender myself to the pain I feel
"such a pitiful being for humanity"
but at least I know, my soul is healed.

For an improv, this was excellent. Imagery, depth, magic and everything a great piece needs.
