The Last Dance

The Last Dance

A Poem by Su' Nacnetaf

The clock has already anounced we're leaving
one last chance to lose ourselves within our steps
if we were ever believing
this is it, we make the peps
one last dance to prove it all
the spark of love we held all along
from side to side of the hall
we move, we dance, we feel the song.

The shadow of your dress
infesting the floor with your touch
just a memory left to caress
we fade away and now there's not much.

This one is very good poem, but I think you should've made it longer. Anyway, this one is great.

Well, I am almost left wordless. I can't believe how quickly the poem seemed to go, almost as if it was dancing it self. The desperation of the two dancers was evident, and I was almost lost in their swaying, but then the poem ended. I was pulled out of the trance, with the poems words burning in my mind.

It was really a great poem, is what I'm trying to say. I can put honestly, that you have such a talent with words! Amazing, I'm left in awe.

And, for a last comment, I didn't even notice any bad grammer.
