Temptation

Temptation

A Poem by Su' Nacnetaf

Rumbling features of an unkown force
drive thrusting an unseen spear in my chest
it states no name, no home, no source
it makes it's nest inside, hidden like a pest
calling, this forbidden passion pounds
exceedingly vicious, morbid, beseeching
the unnatural sensation of a spirit that haunts
making its way through me, forcefully leaching.

The mind falters to this desire
an action not taken or a will denied
cautiously spreading a feeble fire
a question is asked...
should I have tried?

You Are Romanticism You are likely to see the world as it should be, not as it is. You prefer to celebrate the great things people do... not the horrors they're capable of. For you,.. more..
