The Light of Rain

The Light of Rain

A Poem by West of Everyone
"

2012

"

Hearts rise as rain falls
Hand in hand ever down
The mountian of day
To the vale of night

Spring's hearth warms the weary
In the clouded hour
Turning bones of ice
To rain's delight

Falling down beyond the soul
To the depths of deepest sense
Knowing only the embracing light
Upon the drop it rides

Cleansing lights of grey
Stains gone to places unknown
As it runs along the winds flurry
To ground's waiting arms

Shoulders the earth's fury
Ever wanting, expecting
Settled unto its own design
Returning to the sky once again

I don't mean to sound rude, but this sounds like one of my works. This is just awesome. Your choice of words is perfect, and makes for a great piece. But I would like to point out a single spelling mistake. scence= sense. Otherwise, well done.
