The Love Of Him

The Love Of Him

Cool, grey world

Dim, colourless light

Weak, cold sun

Moon engraven with shadow

Stars bled out through space

Night’s darkness holding the earth

His smile awakens

Brings colour to the lost

Warmth where there was blue

A gaze kills shadow

Heals galaxies

Removes hindrance

The hand holds doors

Moves mountains

Brings love

She is from Him

Her smile warms

Brightens with joy

My world
Was cold broken
And disastrous

Then He came to me
Open hands
Folding into and over me

Bringing life
Where there was death
Love over hate

My world

Was wandering
And colourless

He sent her

And she came
Heart open

Bringing focus
To my movement
Colour to life

Blessings cover
Over, in, throughout

The very fiber of me

Humbly

I thank Him

For Him and her
