Far Away

Far Away

A Poem by West of Everyone
"

Written in 2007. An Irish folk song by a Norwegian-American.

"

Far away

Down the windin road

I’ll be walkin on
The land I own

Far away
To me Irish home

Far away

Through fields of green

I’ll be holdin’

The one I that love

Far away
At me Irish home

Far away

Past the old, old mill

I’ll be layin’

In the flower’s that grow

Far away

By me Irish home

Far away

O’er the hills beyond
I’ll be sittin’ on

The golden shores

Far away

In me Irish home

Far away

Down the narrow path

I’ll be found

Forever more

Far away

On Irish shores
