Oblivion

Oblivion

I step out of my room into oblivion
Stepping past the drunk and stoned
Holding my mind
Keeping my heart

I don't know who or what is coming
This strange land where scary things dwell
Night continually falls
And day dims to this oblivion

Just keep my eyes fixed on nothing
My heart upon the true love
Until I finish
Until it is won

This oblivion goes on
Throughout the deepest space
Nothing as it seems
Oddities and the bazaar abound

Oblivion is secure in that nothing is stable
Red gleams through the skies
Darkness enshroudes
Keeping calm my only concern

If I run I will fall
If I fall they will be upon me
No time to react
The end of my fate will await

This subtle oblivion
This misunderstood world
I hide waiting for my moment
When my attack will come
