DawnA Story by Dirty-HipsterWhen Dawn Redfern moves to the small town of port jervis. she falls in loveDawn Walking into that gas station was the best mistake I ever made. Port Jervis New York was a small town; it had a small population of fewer than 10,000 people. The closet city was New York, but it happened to be 93 miles away. And this small town is where Dawn Redfern exiled herself too. Dawn was not used to small cities, her whole 19 years she had lived in San Francisco, a whole 2,877 miles away. But she had to leave, get away from there. ‘Don’t go there’ Dawn thought to herself, ‘You had to leave. Your safety was at hand’. Dawn sighed to herself and continued driving. About 10 miles away from Dawn’s destination, the gas light went off. And behold there was the gas station. Dawn stopped and pulled into the gas station. She filled her car with gas, then went into the store to get something to munch on. She noticed inside was a boy, he was about her age looking. Sam Carter was a small town boy, with big dreams. He wanted to be a somebody, somebody people talked about. He didn’t want to be some kid from a small town. He wanted to be a musician; it had been his dream since he was 7 years old. Sam noticed a girl walk into the small gas station called ‘Joeys Gas’. Normally he gave people one glance, but this girl, something about her made him not able to take his eyes off her. She had long vibrant red hair. He stared at her so intensely, not in a creepy way. But in an Admiration way. He didn’t even notice when he had asked her a question. “Where is the Tylenol?”Dawn had been looking for the Tylenol to cure her pounding head. When the boy didn’t respond she asked again “Excuse me, where is the Tylenol?” Sam blinked a few times “Oh sorry! It’s just over there.” He pointed to the farthest isle, and smiled lightly What these two strangers didn’t know is that love struck them hard, it had been faith. With time they would discover their feelings, with time. Dawn-
