A Poem by Dirty-Hipster

The Heroin Falls

Drip-drop

The needle drips

“One more time”

The whisper slurs

The elastic is on your arm

Snap

The needle stalks forward

Drip-drop

“I can handle it”

The lies slither through your teeth

The heroin falls again

Drip drop

Mumbles of a lost love

It ended the way it began

Ding-dong

The doorbell rang

Knock-knock

Continual knocking began

Creech

The door opened

Mumbles of a lost love spoke

“We need to talk”

She replied aggregately

“I’m done.”

The strangled words squeaked

“I love you”

“The feeling isn’t mutual anymore”

The door closed Signalling

The end

An interesting way of laying out a sequence of events. I like it. You seem to have an imagination that is suitable for poetry. Keep at the good work.
