Review of 'Art's War' by Lady SphinxA Story by Artisans
'Art's War', a poem by Lady Sphinx
"To the Writer's I love, a message of what's to come." The title 'Art's War' calls writers to be brave with their words during difficult times. Your last line 'dust off your pens people, we ARE AT WAR' is a strong reminder for writers to fight with our words, that Art's at war to survive, reminds us now that Art's words are most needed: The message behind this poem is important and caught my immediate attention. This poem would be fantastic with a just a little more polish, perhaps expand on some of the ideas here. For example, 'labatomies' is a new interesting yet troubling and confusing word. That line maybe needs just another line or a few more words to explain. My main criticism is that I am left wanting more when thoughts go too fast to the next idea. Lots of movement and a brave message packed into one poem. 'Art's War' by Lady Sphinx 'Link to Review Comments © 2008 ArtisansReviews
