Nocturnal Transmissions

Nocturnal Transmissions

A Poem by Wandering Minstrel

we do journey on a wisp of a dream
across universes of thoughts
never explored at waking,
into realms only the inner mind
can stand and analyze,
and we are no longer human there
but dream walkers who can do
almost anything we'd like...
till the mourning calls us back
to the reality of a stiff inflexible
shell that holds us down
until we part again the following night
