My Heart's Song

A positive feeling of liking, 

liking that of a fancy, 

understanding the reason of logic,

reasoning with self control, 

self control over the feeling of another, 

wanting to hold all of her, 

wanting to hold all that I believe in, 

not wanting to let her love go.

Love hurts, love shines, yes, 

love, love its everywhere, 

it comes and it goes, 

it slips upon you 

in and out of the deepest places 

places you least expect it to find you,

finding you in a song, 

a song written upon the words of a lyric 

before it even becomes a song.
