Chapter 6 - The Sea is Their CompanionA Chapter by Arthur HennThe Sea is Their Companion Emptiness closing the shutters to their souls Trying to find that place where they belong Facing the pain of trial and error, Not knowing where their hearts belong The gracefulness of her beauty What his eyes observe, his soul yearns for Thriving by the minute day by day, Landscaping the irises of his eyes Wanting to tread softly upon the footprints Of her soul Time is only grains of sand Flowing through an hourglass of time The stillness she feels in his kindness Leads in-to a quietness, which grows in her soul Wanting him to hold her Like she imagine so many times before Turning back the hands of time Leads them still waters like they imagined Time and time again, watching them embrace The seas arms wide open holding them The chambers in their minds Have plenty of room Waiting to capture Each other's emotions Unforgiving he is, the desires, the passions The passions of wanting her Wanting her To get close to him Her impression What she is thinking His manner The way he carries himself Like nothing she has ever seen Words pressed Upon his lips Speechless, not knowing What to say Like the warmth of the rising sun His eyes Embrace her exquisiteness With the hint of an affectionate smile Her image engraved in the walls of his mind Like a rose blossoming on the first day of spring April rain diminishing upon her sensuality Embraced by the warmth of his smile She holds the beauty of Mother Nature in her palms Like the maple leaves of spring Their fall colors Are those of her fashions Always nourishing the essence Of his soul Their emotions closing in Thinking to themselves Wanting to get to know each other better Like each receding wave has gotten to know them © 2010 Arthur Henn |
