She Whispers With The Wind
The deep of the sea holds many wonders
a gradual departure of silence
I've been walking alone upon its shores.
~
Up out of her depths, the faint orange ball
of fire rises high, that of our rising sun,
warmth that will soon embrace my soul.
~
A survivor of many shipwrecks,
how many more come to rest
within her bed.
~
My heart holds hands with the dead
hearing voices whisper these words I write
no longer held down by rusting sea brine metal.
~
Map of stars
landscape the darkness of all nights
If I close my eyes I will feel her presence.
~
There's a story to be told
how, and just when, I don't know
she whispers with the wind, not yet.
