I miss you

I miss you

A Poem by Artemisia

I miss you!

You’re far away, but not distant!

In me you leave a thrill

and a thirstfor infinite passion!

The world lies in your embrace

And an imagined kiss gives off

a terrible power over me,

a longing, a desire…

I mourn the distance,

yet the smile does not leave my face,

longing for your tender charm

In my heart it’s so close,

but you’re away, yet you leave a burning fire!

I dream, and look for you

in the sparkling night stars,

I’m risen by moonlight among them.

And I give a sense to these days and nights

created and intertwined by an intense connection.

And I soar over the night

I place my sight somewhere in infinity

smiling, elated with hope,

Now, I miss you,

even knowing

that you may come back to me once more!
