Vast & Valiant Seas

Vast & Valiant Seas

A Poem by The Last Poetic King
"

The Beauty, The Hero, the beast.. the story

"
His eyes are burning bright
Followed by the sound of oceans afar
Listen to the larks tall tale of the heart

-Here lays beauty-
She dreamed a dream so pretty
It was of vast and valiant seas
Her hero bestowed a promise,
promise to warm her heart
In the midst of winter

Years pressed on,
seasons scattered far
She had hopes for her hero
Whom she had bound her heart
Hear the lies of beauty
The beast was not far

-Here lays the hero-
Giving her a love so cherished
kingdoms succumbing to peace & tranquility
He told her many stories
of wars so great
it could take the lives of many
Yet the beast was not far

He told her she was pretty
He would swim the entire sea
If she would just hold his hand
He could hear her hearts symphony

Yet the beast tore apart
these two brave hearts
The hero was to fall
Beast had taken the beauty'
His prized treasury
She screamed for mercy
but the beast was wit in cunning
She soon fell in love with thy

The beast was not far...

He lurked in the shadows of the lovers hearts
Creeping in and out from the start
Following them to the valiant seas
Oh what a pity
She couldn't be his queen
The beast tore apart the two lovers

Started with the admirable hero
Ripping his heart into shred
In ink the paper bled
Bled from many misery
In which the beast had shed

It was only a matter of time
before the queen had lost her light
he tore her dream so pretty
that the vast & valiant seas bled
