Voyage of Seven Souls, and Seven SeasA Poem by The Last Poetic KingI wrote this listening to La Dispute
Stand on this ground,
we search endlessly for the treasure. Across seas we will sail, for every love that we have felt. This ocean is ours, to call home. Slip into the shadows of the day, turn and show the world who you are, that you harbor love in your heart Let's see the sails, flying high.
Dance in the parading sickness of our own pure health. Today, I have gained something new from everything that has made me human. Looking to the west, I fear my own demise. But I can not change the path I have chosen, and I can not fight the time.. After it has spoken, so many times before this line. I can not fight the time, I will cherish my own demise. Today is brighter than tomorrow, I have felt your soul like a sickness, and I can't bring my self back to health. When all these feelings come rushing to me,' like the wind blowing forcefully against these sails. I will hold you, until we fall apart. I can not fight the time, I will cherish my own demise. The sun rises quickly above the sea, all these letters that were sent from me to you. I wonder, did you even have a clue? Seasons are changing, and endlessly we sail across the open sea. To our own destiny. We can not find a home,' when our hearts are always searching for the purest form of happiness. Torn apart from this world, we are damned souls. This endless voyage, across the forgotten seas. Hopefully we will meet again, you and me are destined to be. We sail hopelessly to the edge of the world, hoping that we will fly over hell. Into a world so far away, it doesn't even pay to be like you and me. We can't fight this feeling anymore, It's true we are destined to be free. Set away from this world, sickness and in health. I was once sealed with your soul, ignited by the power of marriage. To cherish each other, for life and for death. But I found that I will sail the seven seas. Until I face my self again in hell, but today I have found a clearing, and I can't fight my own fate, for I have built it brick for brick. Tonight, I look across the endless sea. I have finally found the end, the end for souls like me. This voyage across the seven seas, have set all our souls free. We can finally live in paradise, that is beyond the open sea.
