Well I don't know how to feel as I watch you fade,

As the sunset slowly turns to gray.

You're heart is on a wire and mine is slowly catching fire

You're so far away but still I can feel your face,

As you lean down to place your soft lips against my skin

These words would never come out right,

I don't have the strength to let you know

You're better off without me & I'm better off alone

But late in the night I am so far away,

I can hear you whisper my name

The seasons are changing, the stars are aligned

There is a fire in your heart and I slowly watch it die

Well what would you think if I told you I could cease the pain?

How would you feel if I held you tight told you everything will eventually turn to light?

Never alone, Never by yourself,

Always someone to help you up the hill

To chase the light in the vastness of the dark,

To breach every Kingdom that sought your heart

How would you feel if you saw my face?

Saw the words echo and leave without a trace?

What would you say if you knew the truth?

That there is nothing in this world I wouldn't do for you

Though I know,

In this heart of hearts

These words would never come out right,

I don't have the strength to let you know
