Good-Bye Old MeA Poem by Artemis Lykaios NightshadeA man turning into a vampire poetryI walk as fast as I can under the moon and stars. Cars drive past me, Kids run past me, And other things go by pass me. To go home for the night and sleep. I clench my hand to my bloody neck. In hopes that no one would notice the blood dripping
down. Not only my neck was in pain but the rest of my body. I return home, where my family was still up and about. I go up to my room, not hungry for supper. But of something else. I am turning into a monster, A blood-sucking daemon monster. I am desiring a taste for blood, And only crimson blood. No matter the type, A, B, O, positive, negative, etc. I am gaining super-human strength and speed. I have no reflection and cannot go to a church with out
screeching. I close my eyes and remember the times I had. Going to my bed, I lay me down to sleep. Now I have to say: Good-Bye Old Me © 2012 Artemis Lykaios Nightshade |
