Silence Speaks

Silence Speaks

A Poem by Arshina
"

Silence is a virtue''

"
It takes a lot to speak maybe, but it takes far more to stay quiet.
When people try to shake your grounds , its hard to keep your head upright.

When people you trusted your life upon they turn their backs towards you.
Its hard to keep your tears inside when the pain inside is tearing you apart.

Like the cold when it starts to burns, its some unknown agony.
It sears through my body like poison in my veins , it shatters my inner serenity.
Like a knife , a bullet piercing through my heart , but silent i am and I'll always be.
Cause explanations are all futile , you'll always see what you want to see.

So I take a deep breath. I hear you talk.
You want me to answer, you want me to shout.
But i wont cause i know it wont resolve,
anything between you and me.
As words do speak but silence speaks better,
If you could only hear the words that i can not utter.

And closing my eyes, i walk away, no i'm not hiding my pain i dont feel it anyway,

Feeling chocked up , feeling breathless
I walk away , I walk away
And almost on my breaking point, my silence speaks . There is so much to say.

I may act i'm not affected , i may act I'm cruel and mean,
But there is so much that I hide inside. So much that you haven't yet seen.

I'm speaking cant you hear it, its my silence that is screaming,
The emotions that stay unknown when you cant feel what i'm feeling.

I can feel the emotions come through. Powerful writing here.
