Memories of Summer FunA Poem by ArsenicSummer memories So sweet with age and time Wrap around the mind Forever
The lessons of life Of love Of laughter Are never forgotten
The hot sun and cool breezes Somehow locking in the memories Printed in indelible ink Upon ones heart and head
Memories of ice cream cones And romance of the highest kind The fairy power of lightning bugs And the soothing sound of crickets chirping
Memories of friends whose name were long ago forgotten But whose faces are forever there Memories of days at the beaches Of surf and sand of laughter and of tears
These summer memories so special Such a part of me I will never forget those memories and lessons Forver more they remain to me What summer truly is
