Love

Undescribable in nature

Intangible in property

Wanted by all

 

Though we have tried to understand

Its way for centuries

To control it by potions and with spells

To give its power to a god or goddess

 

We have failed

For no one can control

Such a savage beautiful force

Non one can force its hand

 

It strikes the heart in ways unseen

Causing pain and happiness in equal measure

It is like the movements of this world

Random and uncontrollable

 

To those that posses its great power

It serves as an everlasting bond

Uniting two into one by heart and soul

 

It can be seen in but a gesture

Or heard a word or phrase

A simple touch full of love

 

A lover to his love

A mother to her child

A father to the son

 

For those who do not have its power

Or have never felt its touch

They yearn forever to find it

 

The wade through many painful years

Trying to find that which is not thiers

Trying to find love

 

Love is volatile

Beautifully savage

Painfully happy
