The Tainted SlothA Poem by ArrinaeAnother piece about one of the Five Great Generals from 'To End the Crusade'From the shadows, He always watched. Waiting silently, For the chance to strike.
He was very quick, But slow in thought. He rarely understood, Much they had taught.
Betrayed by the twin, Of his best friend and brother. Left on his own, The ward staring at his back.
Always defended, By the brother and medic. He guarded them in the shadows, From those that hunted.
Captured by Templars, When scouting ahead. Forced to merge with vengeful spirit, He lost control of all that was dear.
Forced to watch, His body betrays his brother, Not just once, But numerous times.
Forced to cause the death, Of the unborn daughter. Witnessed the torture of his brother, Betrayed the trust of the medic.
With a heavy heart, He confessed his sins. And smiled even, As she beheaded him. © 2017 ArrinaeAuthor's Note
