Thoughts so true...

Proven almost every day...

A very nice poem - i think i enjoyed the unspoken narrative just as much as the poignant words - there's a feeling of a much larger story at play than what you've revealed. The words themselves speak of a deep strength obtained by overcoming obstacles. Nicely done!

I'm glad you like it and noticed that. It is a much larger story than what was revealed. The majority of my poems are small parts of the story this is from. I'm better at poetry than stories, though I would love to make book of my own at one point. I have actually made two short stories from parts of the story. One tells how it began and the other how it ends. there are more from the in between in the works, but may take me a while to get into the right mindset to write it down.

Well, it's said the most terrifying part of writing a novel is getting started. Don't let that stop you! Once you begin, it'll get easier as the story takes shape on paper.
