Don't Drown

Don't Drown

A Poem by Quill
"

we can't handle everything

"

Calls on the phone, screams from the street alongside voices in your head

With all the ruckus it seems everything wants you dead

Being pulled rapidly in multiple directions simply makes reality bend

Each decision is burdened with an endless array of options you cannot apprehend

Causing folks to bop around for one that could truly transcend

All these are done in hopes of a delightful end

We cannot acquire or tend everything on ground

Else we get crowded and let inconsistencies abound

Hence thinning out the noises ensures we don’t drown
