As we look back on failings

The pains endured

The battles lost

The plagued times

The unattainable aspirations

we applaud ourselves for the lessons learnt

Now we can live without regret

We have become better not bitter

We have become victorious through failure

We have attained strength and exaltation 

However we must be mindful of the task before us

we must walk the willowy path

We must abound eternally

For there are no excuses for failure

The only affirmable excuse is the assurance of success

Such affirmations must be seen through with alacrity
