Recidivism

Recidivism

A Poem by Quill
"

paralytic dreams #7

"
As expected these artful marauders have resurfaced
their grasp on my very essence is indeed ghastly
and i cannot imagine coming loose
i can only blame myself for this trepidation
for i alone welcomed their allurement
now they have begun to commute and wrap my being
at first i was certain they were deviant
now i cannot tell anymore
how can something so abhorrent feel so deluxe
would i ever break free thereby redeeming my soul
or am i bound to this squalor
cursed to spend my days in this eternal scourge
