Akash and some of his friends and other students have gone on a trip to an old age home with teachers.

Subhas Sir: The destination is here; students come on fast.

Harshita Ma'am: Be all ears; don't engage in unnecessary behavior.

Aarav: Time to go.

Akash: Let's go!

Aarav: That's the old-age home.

Narrator 2: Akash; Maa Kali Old Age Home

Narrator: The old age home was peach in colour, with designed windows and creeping vines. It adds a big foreign window in the middle of it, and the outer wall's colour has faded away.

Mrs. Aditi Roy: Proceed in. Priti Sharma: Akash!

Narrator: Akash was so busy looking at elderly people that he did not pay attention.

Narrator 2: Akash, why are they here? Don't they have homes?

Science, ma'am: Akash!

Akash: Uh! yes.

Priti ma'am: What are you thinking about?

Akash: Nothing special.

Priti ma'am: Ok! Don't talk too much with people; we may leave you behind if you do not pay attention.

Akash: You won't, I am sure.

Aditi Roy: Hello! I am Aditya Academy's principal, and I want to greet you all with honour therefore, our teachers and students have prepared a speech. Thank you.

Subhas Sir: Hello everyone! We have come from Aditya Academy in order to fulfil the wishes of our dear children. Our children wished to meet their grandparents, and here we are. Ahuti come…

Aravi: Good luck, Ahuti.

Ahuti: Thanks.

Ahuti: I am...

Narrator: Akash was so busy looking around that he didn't even listen to a word. Suddenly he saw an elderly woman whose hair was white, with wrinkles on her face, and with trusting eyes, wearing a white saree. Waving her hand at him.

Narrator 2: Akash, I think she is calling me.

Aanya: What a gentle-looking boy! I must tell him my story.

Narrator: Akash went to the grandmother and touched her feet.

Aanya Biswas: My blessings, child.

Akash: You called me grandma.

Granny: What is your name?

Akash: Akash, why are you here? Don't they have a home?

Granny: They had one, but would you like to listen to my story?

Narrator: There was a moment of silence.

Akash: Yes, Granny.

Granny:

I was a young woman, but after Abhijeet was born, my whole life was devoted to him. But all things changed when he married.

Then Aravi was born. I couldn't pass the day without staring at her.

Akash: What is your surname, grandma?

Granny: Biswas.

Akash: How? She told me that you were dead; she told me you died on...

Granny: August 13th, 2014, I know.

Granny: Now, a further story.

Then Abhijeet bought 1,000-meter square flat. The flat is so big that it cannot be seen from one end to another, but still, it is so small for them. So where is my place now? The Old Age Home? His wife thought that I was too miserable for them.

Aratrika: Abhijeet, Mom would not fit with us; she's so miserable for us.

Abhijeet: Okay!

On August 13, 2013, they left me here.

Akash: I am so sorry to hear this, but won't they visit you?

Granny: no.

Priti: Akash! Come, we have to go.

Akash: Bye, we are going...

Granny: Why are you going this fast?

Akash: It's my compulsion.

Granny: Okay.

Narrator: Granny then sat sad.

Aravati: Why are you looking sad?

Aanya: Nothing

Narrator 2: Aanya: Please God, I have only one more wish; before my death, I want to live for 100 years to see Abhijeet with me in the same old age home. The old age home is small but enough for me and my son. I hope when my son is 61 years old, he will be here to face me. I shall wait for that moment. Please make a hundred years for that.

Narrator: After twenty years, Abhijeet was with her abandoned mom. After some time, she died, and now she left her son alone in the same "old age home".

Hence, the old wish for justice is fulfilled.

This story depicts a very harsh reality of modern society over the past few decades.

A very good narration and dilogue composed by the young author.
