Tenuousness

Tenuousness

A Poem by Arms of Sleep

You can't see me when I'm skirting on the surface

Playing and dancing on the skin of the water

Where you are submerged and lie open completely

My footsteps repeating their cautionary tales

A rain of dud bombs clanking off of your fortress

Where words form to songs lining up for the slaughter

My shoes come undone and I dance indiscreetly

Throwing caution away with my shouting and flails
