Anxiety

Anxiety

A Poem by Armrose

Anxiety. It makes you fall apart,
It brings you pain, it breaks thine heart.
It brings a tremble, shiver, shake,
But all of these feel like an earthquake.

It's loss of hope, it's absolute sorrow,
It makes you fear the day tomorrow.
It shatters confidence, can make you shy,
Make you ask, oh why, oh why?

Anxiety is hungry, starved for affection,
It can appear without detection.
Anxiety is a virus of the mind,
It leaves all self-esteem behind.

But anxiety can be beaten, it can be fought,
All it takes is an impenetrable thought.
I won't be controlled by you anxiety,
Because the one in charge is not you, but me.
So I'll take a deep breath and live to fight another day,
And you, anxiety, you can just go away.

Rhyming of this piece can make this poem more lighter. Reader don't have to feel heavy under your words. Your words describe well meaning of anxiety . This is good for a reading.
