Her wordsA Poem by Hunter NolanFind the meaning. What's the problem, love? Don't you cry I'll make it better But you said goodbye Truth be told With a heart of gold I said I'd wait, but it's too late
You tear me down when I think of you
Where the hell did I go wrong? I worshipped you for much too long Now you say with a solid heart That we've grown much too apart
You're never there when I speak to you
The fury and madness The sorrow and sadness It makes this gun look a little friendly You've made two words seem deadly
The love you gave me, false and untrue
All i want is to be in your arms Free from pain and free from harm I miss my head on your shoulders Since you left it's so much colder
You shatter me with the words you threw
What's the problem, love? Don't you cry I'll make it better But you said goodbye Like a record you play those words Thrown away without a first second or third
Stand by the wooden bed Hope you're happy cause now I'm dead Choked by the rope of your words Threw my life away without a first second or third Cause I'd rather watch you cry, and see how it feels When I say goodbye © 2008 Hunter NolanAuthor's Note
