Forever

Forever

A Poem by Hunter Nolan
"

I wish I didn't have to think about her

"

Taste my bleeding heart

Hear my deafening scream

I don't know why I'm like this

I'm tearing from the inside

It's a horrible nightmare

Evolved from a dream.

The kiss is burned into my lips

The sunset never fades

I never left your side

It lasted forever

But now I'm doubtful

Of how you feel

I hope the separation isn't real

I miss your warmth already

I wish we never stopped

This game of hard to get

Rips my soul to shreds

Don't get me wrong, I'm still yours

My heart belongs to you

I'll wait until you take my hand

And we fly away

Past the clouds

Through the skies

Into eternity.
