Little white lie

Little white lie

A Poem by Hunter Nolan
"

This is about mind games and how they can shatter your heart.

"

My heart

Your hate

This pain

I can't take

You love

You fake

You lie

You break

I think I'm better off alone

Don't make me suffer anymore

Don't make me suffer anymore

You sit

And stare

Into my teary eyes

My heart

Your hate

How I wish you'd die.

Will you let me be?

Why won't you see?

I CAN'T STAND TO BE YOUR PUPPET

I CAN'T TAKE THE ABUSE

I LIVE NO MORE AS YOUR SLAVE

THAT LIFE HANGS IN THIS NOOSE

DON'T MAKE ME SUFFER ANYMORE!

Don't look into my eyes

And tell me the lies.

I want this to die.

Just leave me be.

Can't you see?

For those who don't get the title, The little white lie is what the woman I speak of's idea . She told what she thought would be a small forgivable lie, which turned into a disaster.

Duuuuuuuude.

I just want to throw some rainbows and flowers and s**t your way...

(wondering if the title is really accurate... could be, but i don't see the little white lie anywhere in the piece..)
