To Murder the Muse

To Murder the Muse

A Story by Touché Armada
"

As the result of a question.. where does your muse come from? Dont worry this muse is not human, or you, I dont know what it is. I want to kill it other times I want to love it.

"

If this be your muse, wish it to oblivion, let this be the day another ethereal muse breaks
in ashen cinders and isims of order, take all rights reserved to burden the emotional corps,
just one of many amidst a nameless and indifferent crown, cowering now, cowering down
daring not gaze up at movement any moment. The infinite serial killer threw snakes at babies,
It’s the stone that sat beneath unrelenting rain, froze and shattered into dirt and grit and tetanus.
The knower, you may never look over your shoulder, leaving that for someone bolder, more insane,
day and night with in your own shadow, the whisper beside the louder protests asking why, the
beggar the flagrant fool is you is I. That holds the frail hand reaching out, saying “you’re not going
to leave me dears” “no we won’t leave”, we’ll sit here while you sleep, its quiet, we can sit here,
while  you  sleep your eternal sleep in the dusts of our DNA, twinkling flakes upon your black satin
sheets  hiding  your tired  bloodlessness , boldlessness.  The world screams at you now, half
performing CPR  the  other half scared and unwilling, the jokes on us, your tomorrow is eons of
black white noise  away, without  guarantee. In our dreamless sleep hypnotic games of battle fields
and demise, the  general snaps his whip staff at heels with gleeful torment, spoon feeding progress
and intellect at a  more rapid  rate, the rabid dog drooling and snarling and barking orders. The last
secret dangled in dead sleep the last secrets the most silent of all, I wish it to oblivion.

A muse like your's-are born with it
Lately my muse comes from my own reviews
one poem from your review
and a lil poetic spice for creativity
and mix in some fun
Done.. this writing is intense
more than you probably know
Its literally mudering the muse
sad, i guess it happens sometimes
though some muses like when i write romance
that came to me years ago-doubt it'll ever leave
love how this poem
draws thoughts to ponder
Nicely done
