Recalculating

Recalculating

A Poem by Amy

To find your place in life, to feel like you belong, it's a long road traveled. Once you find it, or think you've found it you find a sense of comfort, safety, a purpose.

Then life happens and you find yourself on a detour, whether it be your family, a relationship, a job, your travel is thrown off course.

It's from within those detours that you are defined. Your strengths, your weaknesses, your happiness and your sadness.

It's up to you to decide to accept the detours to bring you back to your well traveled road and your previously entered destination. Or maybe, just maybe you ask to be rerouted.....

Quite possibly your thought or assumed original destination was in fact just a detour in your life lesson and journey.

"One moment please, calculating new route."
