Won't you let me, love all of you?

Won't you let me, love all of you?

A Poem by Arline

There’s a story in your eyes,

One that surely will surprise.

By your side is where I’ll be,

If ever you may need me.

Come here within my arms,

I promise to keep you safe from harm.

Won’t you let me

Care for you?

Won’t you let me

Fight for you?

Won’t you let me

Love all of you?

All the sorrows beneath your skin,

Let them out and let me in.

There is nothing I wouldn’t do,

Just to keep your smile true.

As your tears begin to fall,

Know-  I’ll always love your all.

A very lovely piece on love. Well penned.

Gosh, Arline!
What guy (or gal) could turn down such an enticingly enthralling invitation … makes me want to sigh in sweet surrender. : )
A whole lot warming promise to the senses, with a tender pinch of allure to coax jussst right!

I love it, Arline, and I'd like to favor a line or verse, but it all fits so wonderfully together, I'll take it all … though, "There is nothing I wouldn’t do," did catch my attention ;) 〜 Richard

It is my joy! : )
"All the sorrows beneath your skin, let them out and let me in." Wow, that is my favorite line. Great work.
