Soar Again

Soar Again

A Poem by Arline
"

This is a song about a fallen angel who wishes to fly again, but must first help us humans to reach our potential to soar through our lives with Gods love and grace :)

"

In years, I have lived

 I’ve come to an end

For my wings have been broken in shame.

No longer will I stand

Oh no longer will I soar

Through the sky that shines its light upon me.

As I lay here now with no hope, so cold

I hear a voice sing from above,

‘Surely you will soar again.’

Yeah, Yeah,

Yeah, Yeah, Oooooh Yeah.

Young boy in tears,

So driven by fear

Where else can he go from here?

No longer does he love

Oh no longer does he soar

In this world that has brought him to hate.

And as he lays there now with no hope, so cold

I sing him the words I heard from above,

‘Surely you will soar again.’

 Yeah, Yeah,

Yeah, Yeah Oooooh Yeah!

Young girl she cries

So consumed by lies,

Who else can she trust in this place?

No longer does she believe

Oh no longer does she soar

In this world that has rejected her ways,

But as she lays there now with no hope, so cold,

I sing her the words I heard from above,

“Surely, you will soar again,”

Yeah, Yeah,

Yeah, Yeah Oooooh Yeah!

All the streets

I walk, I see.

The world full of open wounds.

Oh tell me Lord what can I do?

A fallen angel who’s broken in two!

I want to fly to spread Your light,

Let me do what is right!

And as I stand here now with hope, lights warmth,

I hear His voice sing from above, ‘Go now and Soar Again!”

And I Soar Again, Yes! I Soar! I Soar!
