Rejoin to Espouse

The purpose of this piece at first describes of one person feeling they don't belong in the world and how the world it's self is corrupt, but in time everything changes and we come together.

               Why am I alone?

                An unsatisfying life that purges me,

                To the point of watching others pass by.

                In a crowd that does not see me,

                A wall is more likely what I am.

                I appear as I am now to gain the strength I need,

                Nothing will force me to submit.

                For I will not hold back my feelings,

                We will liberate our approach.

                Why must this be done?

                The endless fight of blood and sweat,

                A sorrowful loss.

                The feel of a fist, the sting of a knife

                And the smell of gun powder,

                A never ending battle that we all face.

                It is done to obtain what’s rightfully ours,

                It will not be in vain for we will remember.

                Why repeat dishonorable mistakes?

    The cycle of hate and sorrow consuming us,

                 A place I hope not to be.

                Innocent beings walk in this world,

                Become corrupted by the society of large.

                Raping us of our will,

                Seducing us to wrong,

                And taking that which is not ours.

                Confront this nature; see what you must do,

                We are on the verge of changing.

                We must change!

                Some hearts are fragile, but in time

                Become strong. 

    Will our troubled lives come to an end?

                The answer is at our side,

                To see with serene eyes.
