Who Hears Me?

Who Hears Me?

A Poem by Arlene Fleisher

Who hears me

When I cry?

Tears so silent

Nearly non-existant.

Like watching the rain

Through the window

In a soundproof room.

No one hears

Not even me.

Short and powerful! Very well done and amazingly with so few words you said so very much. There is such a emotion in this you have to keep going back and re reading it. Good job. ;)

That is really good. It totally expresses those horrible times when there is no-one there. In my healing journey I have been there so many times.
The poem feels so lonely and isolated, so hopeless. Very good write.

Oh this was a powerful piece! Filled with raw emotion, trying to find a release.
Keep on writing my friend, those tears will one day end, as you might know by now, seeing that this is a old piece. Have to say I just loved the way you used the rain and soundproof room,
Great thinking...

Written from the heart, Arlene. I can feel the pain and the passion. Imagery is superb!
