Did I Ever Love You?

Did I Ever Love You?

A Poem by Sarah Wolfe

There’s never a day

that I don’t think of you.

I don’t know how to say

that there’s never been a day

that I don’t think of you.

I’m uncertain just like then.

I don’t know how to feel love,

that flutter in your chest like a dove.

I can’t recall how I felt back when,

just that I’m uncertain again.

I didn’t know if I loved you.

I remember you fondly,

oh, so kindly and wonderfully,

but still my uncertainty grew.

I wonder. Do I love you?
