HeartLess

HeartLess

A Poem by Leo French
"

This pieces raises the question what factors might address humans who appear to have social emotions?

"
When I hear it on the news it freezes my mind
Grotesque homicide, heartless crime.
Who can commit these acts of sin without being dead within.
A person who can't feel from within can they really be a friend?

How isolated one would have to be inside, no love, no pride
No harmony Just pure emptiness all the time.
The horrendous acts that are crimminal and immoral acts to.
It's been suggested grotesque mistreatment as a child could be a clue

That could create a being devoid of emotion some say is true.
People can do better in life, what we say and do matters that's right.
Other's shouldn't have to suffer because of our pain.
Give the child up to relieve our strain, don't turn them into a fiend

Because of our pain, allow them to live and love all things.
