The Awakening of a hero

They look up to me, I don't want to let them down. Being a leader is never easy especially when you are on the side of injustice. We are holding up for now but just because the fight was won doesn't mean the war is over. You know we were not always like this. We used to be pure but something, someone drove us to it and now it is our life.
 We all have different stories but this one is mine. The world knows me as Mind Freak a 23 year old super genius with jet black hair and glowing white eyes and my life long best friend as Jax when we were 19 we fought in a battle that nearly killed him but luckily I used technology to repair him almost to his exact form except for a nasty scar that covers half his face he stands at a reasonable 6 feet tall with dark ash hair. We formed a group of what people call villains but we called the Outcasts. So I guess we should be getting to it but first I will tell you about the other members. In total we have a group of seven.
 We have Antifire, a tall and thin woman who is understandably the weakest but also very powerful she manipulates fire and ice and can use her powers for other advantages like withstanding supreme weather conditions and flying around the world.
 Sea Sage, a size changing sea beast with a tall mohawk like fin on his head,glowing teal scales and the most horrific cry ever and razor sharp teeth. He is a master of the seven seas his giant hammer is forged by the electricity from the electric eels and the scales fallen from the mighty Kraken, he uses water manipulation and the creatures of the deep for attacks. He is the oldest member of the group at a mere age of 21 thousand years old but the body of a 21 year old
 There is the Necrotic Rot who is the youngest of the group much like a zombie she died when she was 19 and was burred in a grave yard that is now a nuclear plant so naturally a zombie she has scars and wounds never to be healed with the hideous reek of her rotted flesh and her poisonous blood and her shark like teeth that paralyze her victims in one bite she is unstoppable.
 MechaBorg is an android that I once created standing at a whopping 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide he is equipped with all the basic strengths and lasers along with extreme weaponry and a jet pack.
 Last is the Night Tracker his skin is a dark grey and he is only 4 feet tall so with his stealth and speed it makes him invisible and along with that he has years of acrobatic training and extreme agility that lets him slow down time without slowing him down at all. All together it is the reason why we are on top of the city, for now. Now to hear my story.

It was a typical Saturday morning in a calm little town. The birds were chirping and the squirrels were running about. Meanwhile in a modern day home a 8 year old boy sits on the floor watching " The New Adventures of Captain Supremo". As the boy sits and daydreams about one day becoming a superhero one day, for that is the only thing the boy could ever want. In the big city next to their quaint little town lives the one and only Captain Supremo. Captain Supremo stood 6.8 feet tall and had a strong build, he was not the only superhero in their world though. As the boy dreams on his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a doorbell. He sprang up from the floor and ran straight for the front door, he knew exactly who it was. He opened the door and said " Hi Scotty!". " Hello Eddie, ready to go to the park?" he replied. " I sure am just let me tell my mom", Eddie dashed into the other room and said bye to his mom. They rushed out the door and headed to the park.

As the two children arrived at the park another boy approached, "Well, well, well, look at this it is the dynamic doofus'". "Be quiet, Victor" muttered Scotty. " Yea just because your uncle is Captain Supremo doesn't mean anything" said Eddie. " I believe it means I have super powers" Victor said as he looked to his right and picked up the merry go round that was covered in toddlers. " Whatever" Scotty said " Lets go somewhere else". They slowly walked away feeling ashamed, as Eddie slowly looked back, he saw Victor mocking him. As they were walking they decided to discuss what they would want if they had powers. " I would be the smartest man on the planet, with telekinesis and shape shifting abilities I would be unstoppable, oh and time control too! How bout you?" Eddie asked. " I would have ray beams, super speed, teleportation, an utility belt and air manipulation powers" he replied. 

Later that day the two boys were sitting at the beach. They played in the sand all day and wanted a break. They sat and were talking for a few hours. As the hot sand had turned to cold and the sun filled sky collided with the moon they saw a bright light in the sky. It was getting bigger and bigger until it landed only a mile away. The boys ran to check it out before Eddies mother got there to pick them up. They notice the large clump of rock was glowing and then it happened. The ground shocked and threw them backwards quickly. Eddie's head was filling with more and more knowledge, he started flashing between multiple people and creatures and then time froze. He was stuck in time and at that moment the waves had stopped crashing and all life seemed motionless except for him and his one true friend Scotty they realized the powers they wished for were now part of them as Scotty ran down the beach and teleported back they knew that their lives were different. They had a whole new list of powers and responsibilities and they could not tell anyone even if they wanted to. Their lives would never be the same again.
