Broken echoes

Shards of glass...

...They fall

 

Only memories

Faint of heart...

...They call

 

Dying embers

Of a once live flame...

...Dance

 

Given pain

And lips...

...Romance

 

A drop is given

For a heart in turn...

...They bleed

 

A smile is sold

To keep one's tears...

...Lost need

 

Little glance

From man of stone...

...Tells all

 

Death abroad

Never at home...

...All she saw

 

But there must once

Be one you know...

...Face the pain

 

And when

That one's close...

...No mind's sane

 

Broken echoes

Forgotten love

Die in Hell...

I like it. No need to apologize for vagueness, people generally put their own meaning in. Sounds to me like a very sad poem of lost love or a broken heart. Read it again in a few years and you may be surprised at how it says exactly what you felt at the time, whatever the cause.
