Why do You Fight
A Poem by
Arizona Sky
Why do you fight...why do you rething...why do you remember
Why do you fight
your own mind
when you know
it will win?
Why do you rethink
your power
when it is at
your strongest?
Why do you remembe r
the past as the
good and the
future as bad?

Oh my gosh, I love this
My favorite poem of yours that I've read so far
The message is so powerful in its simplicity
Why do you fight your own mind
When you know it will win?
That so perfectly describes that state I find myself in so often.
And the next part reminds me of doubting yourself, being unsure when you're at your strongest
And the last thing you adress, dwelling on good memories of the past, without hope for the future.
I love this poem, my favorite so far!

i've never done this but I really liked this so will reply with a poem:
We are victims of humanity
We strive to see complexity
So fight our mind to win a bout
Yet only end up feeling doubt.
Internal conflicts we create
To end up spiraling in hate,
Prefer the past because it's safe
It's done and dusted, left to faith
It can't be changed so hold it dear
And thus the future, we do fear.
haha a bit rubbish but yh :p
