Fait accompli

Fait accompli

A Poem by Aristophanes
"

when nothing seems to change, lunacy seems like a great option

"
Fait accompli

My fate is that lame
Your manias take over
Oblique mode your game
Don't you think, ever?
I suffer; you abandon me,
Would it terminate, never?
Ridicules aside; you destined
Desolate, oh! I am predestined,
Asylum to the things you bring
My way it's horrible, tearing
Me apart with voracity again
I'll never fall in love again
Fait accompli my doom
In the sadness lagoon
Death would be an ornament
To my life's present
Fate is left to your resignation
And defeated by contradiction
I tumbled to an obscure corner
Of my soul and burned by ennui
My abominate destiny fait accompli

Ha! I love your note at the beginning...lunacy indeed. Bring it on!!
This is awesome. So in your face. I like that. And you rhymed really well. This is interesting...it's like you are selling yourself out to doom before the end. i suppose that's the point, with the title and all, but it reminds me of something I'd think in my darkest, most annoying hour. :) Nicely written. :)
