Death of My Love

Death of My Love

A Poem by Arijit Bose
"

Love turns blue all that's left is me and you

"
I am sitting in a corner filled with rage,
It is my stubborn love and dying mistress.
Flashed before my eyes the moments we have spent,
A young boy, a new bride and a room in rent.
I remember her playful mischievous Eyes,
The love, the fights and the innocent lies.
Then Came to this world a motionless baby,
Brought with him accusations and apathy.
What was left was a room full of toys,
A mute boy, a silent girl and the street noise.
Moral fights drifted to some unspoken protests,
Different rooms, different friends the unending tests.
I remembered similar was a day
I was lying alone in my bed filled with rage
It was my dying love and stubborn mistress.
