All Is LostA Poem by Aries1984An idea I got after seeing Robert Redford's movie All Is Lost
All is lost, and nothing's found
When one loses the desire to look The deepest answers to questions in life Are not always found in a book. The questions yet to be answered We learn from personal interactions We learn from personal strife And the answers arrive in actions. All that's lost has a temporary time Where it could be found again All that's needed is an optimistic drive That can be found in all of man. For it's too late when we do nothing When we descend into pessimism Because if we really want to thrive We must remain in a state of optimism. For we should never give up hope The good fight is worth fighting to the end You only start to deprive Your life, when you choose to let go of it's rope. © 2015 Aries1984 |
