A Storm Is Coming

Inspiration from some of this weeks weather

Darkness now invades the clouds

Coming out from the west

The rain is starting to pick up, it shrouds

The ground underneath me as it starts to ingest.

 

The life giving liquid that greens the earth

Starts to swell up the dry ground

And lightening flashes, the crack of thunder is heard

Feeling the power of it's sound.

 

There's a storm that's brewing

The winds are now picking up

As inland slowly it's moving

I sit here writing this with hot tea in my cup.
