A Yawn Away from UnconsciousnessA Poem by Ariel OliviaRainy night writers block.
At some point in time you will realize that dreams
Only come in the form of... inaccurate realities of something that's too far away to touch Being let down has become too familiar to most and life is a stagnate state of bewilderment With the occasional infidelity of lust I wish I could drown my fears, of judgment & unworthiness But as I have found, these are indeed a natural feeling of life Life is time and time is too fragile to waste On these silly little things we call games These often maddening mind games Every other personality enjoys them But when you've tired yourself of these characters You tend to go into hiding Avoiding the sunshine & fresh air you find life to be a comfortable slightly boring state Of self awareness and everyone showing up much too late. © 2012 Ariel Olivia |
