Homeless, Heartless.

Homeless, Heartless.

A Poem by Ariel Olivia

I've met him, he has no home

he talks in a since of direction

left unknown.

He can sleep anywhere

under a street light

down in a cellar

His hair is beautifully arranged

Upon his skin, & his feeling of loneliness

is about to begin... the highway

An unhappy place for anyone

Walking the distance to feel somewhat safe

Insecurities are left behind

with each step he takes

He's feeling faded and dark

He takes up a lost language

He see's her often, but they do not talk

she walks without hesitation

From a glance, her face is kind

His way is different

He is a black & white photo lost in time

His clothes are made of a beautiful fabric

they were made by a Queen

In an era of forgiveness

He doesn't speak of his loss of breathing

but his memories... they're; they're lingering

He is hesitant to understand what it is they all think

he thinks it would be difficult to understand anything.
